New freight ferry sails with wind power to Belfast

The Stena Connecta, a new RoRo freight vessel by Stena Line, arrives in Belfast Harbour equipped with two Norsepower Rotor Sails™. These reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions on the Belfast–Heysham route. Commercial start is set for 23 January 2026. The vessel increases freight capacity by about 40%.
